From The Tiles of the Bathroom Floor
We all have a space that makes us feel safe, for the lucky few this is a person that can hold us until everything gets better. For me, that space is the bathroom, which is why I find myself currently sat on the bathroom floor unable to get up.
I know some people are probably thinking about how disgusting it is because of all the germs and bacteria that are currently in here. It's also one of my many thoughts, my head is buzzing with a million and one different things but I can't find the words to speak. I have so much that I want to say, that I need to say, but I just can't.

Floral Print
I love this time of year everything is so bright and beautiful, the flowers are in full bloom and not just in the fields. This time of year my wardrobe is full of floral not necessarily bright and colourful I have found a couple of pieces that I have loved which are darker or natural colours.
Lipsy Dress
This one is the latest edition to my wardrobe and I am in love with it, I have a number of special occasions coming up over the next few months so I have been on the look out for to wear which has led to a lot of window shopping. This dress is from Lipsy and the best part was that it was on sale when I bought it. The dress has a high neckline and two thin shoulder straps the back is a mid rise, the skirt is a pencil skirt design and overlaps so you can see the black underskirt. This Dress is from Lipsy and cost £25.

One Song. A Thousand Thoughts
Ever had one of those moments where out of nowhere a song comes on and it just really hits home, all of sudden you're taken back to a certain moment, and you start to feel everything all over again.
I haven't posted in a while because things have become so hectic that I haven't had a moment to sit and write and when I have I just didn't know what I wanted to write about, right now its 3 am and I am sat on my bedroom floor, and my music is playing through my earphones I have a very mixed taste in music and would never say that I have a genre that I follow I listen to almost anything and everything.

Dear Younger Me
There are a number of things that I wish I could go back and tell younger me, although I'm not that old as it is I'm starting to realise that everything I was worried about at that age really just doesn't matter and life hasn't quite turned out the way I thought it would.
I find that when I talk to people who are older than me they have the same thoughts as me, the other day I was stuck at the train station as my train had been delayed in the end I was sat there for over 2 hours with no way to get home. Usually, I hate it because we live in a world where no-one speaks to each other and you look weird if you try to start a conversation, thankfully a lady that was also waiting for the train started talking to me.

Be Your Own Valentines
To all my beauty single guys and girls out there, it's nearly that sucky time of year where everyone starts broadcasting their amazing cute relationships (even more than they already do) even the shops are full of hearts and flowers.
I'm not anti-valentines it's just crap being single because everyone going on about the cute plans they have in place for their other half. I have never actually had a valentine, so here are my ultimate single girls guide to surviving this day:

January Favourites
It's January which means it's a new year, with new things to try and love! So here are my January favourites with new things that I have been loving. Some of them are things that I got for Christmas some of them I have been out and bought myself.
Beauty
Barry M Coconut Infusion nail polish-
These are one of the things that I got for Christmas, I have Skinny Dip which is a beige colour, it's a very neutral kind of shade which I think works really well for everyday kind of nails; I also have Laguna which is a pale blue. One thing I like about these nail polishes is that the colour you see in the bottle is the exact shade you get when you paint your nails, I've found that with some brands the shade always differs slightly. Also, these have coconut oil in them which helps to strengthen the nails, which I love because I used to bite my nails (still do, but trying to stop) so they are weak and break really easy, but since using these they seem to be getting stronger and growing.

Pizza Pasta
I know its January and everyone is on some sort of diet or cleanse because of all the stuff that they have had over Christmas, I however am not as the cold days are making me search for comfort food. My ultimate food love is pasta or pizza, in any kind of way!
So when I saw the idea of pizza pasta I couldn't help myself but give it a try and it's so good!

Skin Care Routine
Even some that are specifically designed for dry sensitive are no good for me because even they have some harsh chemicals in them, or they just don't do what they say on the bottle. Here are a few that I have tried and find are actually good for sensitive skin.
First up is the Clean and Clear daily exfoliating wash, I find that this helps to get rid of all the dried out skin and helps make my skin feel softer the minute I use it. One of the only problems with it is that it use Microbeads which as most of you may now are really harmful to marine as they are none biodegradable and meaning that they end up in lakes and oceans. If any of you know a better alternative I would love to hear it so please let me know in the comments section.
Simple Kind to skin moisturising facial wash is something that I have always used because unlike most products it doesn't contain any harsh chemical and all of the things in it are soothing to the skin so do not cause any irritation; contains vitamins that are actually really good when absorbed into the skin.
Neutrogena Visibly clear grapefruit facial wash, this thing smells amazing which makes it so much nicer to use as it doesn't have the chemical smell that some of them have similar to the Simple facial wash its calm to my skin and makes my face feel so soft and clean. I use this one every day, I also like the fact that the bottle has a little pump on top so I don't waste any and you can lock the pump so that when I am travelling it doesn't spill anywhere.
BIORÉ Charcoal Pore Minimiser is another skin product that I use. According to the bottle, it activates with water to draw out deep-down impurities and remove dirt and oil.
Its unique formula, with natural micro-crystals, smoothes skin and leaves pores visibly smaller. Which in my opinion it does, I also find that it helps with blackheads. I find that it works really well, to the point that I don't have to use it that often and use it ever few weeks because of how good it makes my skin look.
If there are any other skin products out there that you find work really well with sensitive skin, or if you have used the any of the products I have written about then please feel free to leave me comments, I'd love to hear what you are using and loving skin care wise.

Perfumes
I am a difficult person to buy presents for because I am a really picky person, so when people find something that I do like they will just go with it. This is the reason for things such as Christmas I typically get perfumes which I love and run out of a lot, I'm not complaining I love getting them.
This time I got 3 perfumes which I am loving, two of which I have used for a long time and one which is a new one but I am really liking it.

Makeup Must Haves
For me, there are a number of different pieces of makeup that I have to have, I'm not necessarily talking about specific brand products but essential pieces that I have in my everyday makeup bag.
To start with I carry my essentials in this adorable makeup bag by Becky Derbyshire aka The Lifestyle Blogger UK, I was fortunate enough for her to send me on and I am absently loving it and I'm carrying it with me everywhere. It's a very cute design, I love owls, also the inside is made out of a material that you can wipe so if the top pops of your lipstick you haven't to worry about it ruining your bag which I think is essential in any case your plan on using for your makeup because spills do happen. You can check out more of the things they have available over on their website:

Next is the foundation, you have to have a good foundation before you start anything, for me, this is make or break on whether or not you have a good makeup day because no amount of contouring is able to hide bad foundation. The foundation that I am really loving at the minute is Rimmel's Match Perfection foundation, and one of the best things about it is its cheap financially but the coverage that you get us a lot more.
After foundation concealer is my next step, I have really dark bags under my eyes so I have to have concealer to try and brighten them up. One of my go-to concealers is the collections lasting perfection, I typically always use a liquid concealer and find that this one works really well in covering and doesn't crease like others liquids do.
I have really dry skin so tend to skip powder because it just dries it out even more, so next I go for blusher, for a natural look I use the Rimmel Mono Blush I just think it gives a natural glow and it's so pigmented.
My final finishes are mascara and sometimes a lipstick or a lip gloss, I don't have a specific one that I use it usually depends on what look I'm going for whether it's a natural look or more of a dressed up fancy look.

Slender Blender
So it's the start of the new year and everyone always set the new year's resolution of losing weight and being healthy, this is one of those cases kind of. I set the plan of breaking my bad habits this year, eating has always been an area of bad habit for me on the grounds of I rarely have breakfast and sometimes my hectic schedule can mean that I miss lunch and before I realise it the end of the day is here and I haven't eaten anything which is one of the reasons I have gone for a meal replacement, that and I have a copper deficiency which this shake is packed with so it also helps me to manage that.
